About the Program
The Computer Technology programme gives students a comprehensive foundation in computer science and information technology, the broadest entry to technical careers. Students study programming, data structures and algorithms, databases, operating systems, networks, web and application development, information security, and introductions to artificial intelligence and cloud computing. They learn to solve problems logically and build complete software solutions, and choose a specialisation track in the final years. This foundation year prepares students for a bachelor's degree over 1 year, with core subjects and study skills that build confidence and knowledge before specialising.
