How to check whether Saudi Arabia recognises a Malaysian university
Check two things: that the university itself is among the universities recognised by the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, and that the programme is accredited in Malaysia by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Search for the university on the Ministry of Education's website before registering, and keep a copy of the search result.
Also pay attention to the mode of study: full-time study on campus is the usual route to recognition, while distance or part-time study may be subject to different conditions.
The authority responsible for recognising degrees
The Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia is the authority responsible for the equivalency of university degrees issued outside the Kingdom, and it decides whether a degree is accepted. MAIGA helps you choose a suitable university and programme, but the final decision on equivalency always rests with the Ministry.

Steps to get your degree recognised after graduation
After graduating, keep your original certificate and transcript, and any documents the Ministry asks for to prove your period of study and residence, such as your passport pages and Student Pass. Then submit the equivalency application through the Ministry of Education's online services and follow the instructions given there, as the requirements may be updated from time to time.
