A language certificate is not required to apply. You can obtain a conditional offer until you get the certificate, or join the university's institute and study the language to obtain the language certificate.

If your English is excellent and you want to skip this hurdle, you can apply to study a Foundation programme
and then go on to a bachelor's degree without submitting a language certificate.

All current students who intend to return to Malaysia must apply for their travel permit through the EMGS website. Once it is approved, the travel permit will be available to download through the EMGS website. The travel permit can be downloaded from the link below:
Students must:
1. Complete the online payment for quarantine and the COVID-19 screening test through MySafeTravel (www.safetravel.myeg.com.my) / the MyQr app by MyEG (www.myeg.gov.my), and present the payment receipt at the international point of entry on arrival.
2. Take an RT-PCR COVID-19 test three (3) days before travelling to Malaysia. The RT-PCR COVID-19 test result must be translated into English so that the relevant authorities in Malaysia can check it.
3. Download the MySejahtera app from the iOS App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery and complete all the required information three (3) days before the date of arrival.
4. Use the MySejahtera app to scan the QR code on arrival at the international point of entry.
5. Comply with the mandatory quarantine for fourteen (14) days, or any period set by the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH), on arrival in Malaysia at the quarantine station designated by the Malaysian government. The 14-day period will be extended to 21 days (a 7-day extension), depending on the risk assessment on the fourteenth day of quarantine. The quarantine period will be extended at the same quarantine station.
6. The second COVID-19 RT-PCR screening will be carried out at the international point of entry (KLIA & KLIA2), and the third screening will be carried out on the tenth day of quarantine. The fourth test will be carried out on the eighteenth day, if necessary.
  • Monitor their health condition using the MySejahtera app during the quarantine period. If symptoms appear, these individuals must inform the medical team on duty for further examination and treatment.
  • Stay in quarantine and do not leave the room.
  • Comply at all times with the standard operating procedures, laws and regulations relating to the management of COVID-19, as set by the Malaysian government.
  • At the end of the quarantine period, all students will be required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test.
  • Students will be released from the quarantine station if the COVID-19 test result is negative.

It depends on the case. If the student is registered without a visa, nothing is required; the student simply moves to the other institute after the end of the month. If the student is registered with a visa at the first institute, the visa must be cancelled by that institute, and the student must leave Malaysia to apply to the other institute. After the visa is issued by the other institute, the student can come to the other institute.
