How do you apply to study in Malaysia? 🇲🇾🎓 Step by step!

Malaysia has become one of the best study destinations for international students 🌏, not only because of the quality of its higher education, but also because of its diverse environment, reasonable costs, and the generosity of its people 🕌🍜

If you are thinking of starting your academic journey in Malaysia, this article gives you a roadmap from the first step to your official admission 🗺️✅

📌 Step 1: Choose the right university 🏫

Start by searching for Malaysian universities that offer the specialisation you love ❤️‍🔥

There are public and private universities, and each one has different programmes and features

🔍 Use the universities' websites or contact educational advisers who will help you

📌 Step 2: Check the admission requirements ✅

Each university has its own admission requirements such as:

📝 Secondary school or bachelor's certificate

📊 A language test such as IELTS or TOEFL

📚 Some programmes require additional tests such as SAT or GRE (especially for postgraduate studies)

📌 Step 3: Prepare your papers 📂

The required documents usually include:

✔️ Copy of the passport

✔️ Academic certificates

✔️ Transcript

✔️ Personal photo

✔️ English language certificate (if required)

📌 Step 4: Submit the admission application 🎯

Once you have gathered your papers, fill in the university's form online and upload the documents

📬 After the review, you will receive a message of admission or conditional admission

This means you are eligible to start arranging the remaining procedures

📌 Step 5: Get ready to travel! ✈️

As soon as you are accepted, the steps of the visa, accommodation, health insurance, and flight ticket begin 🧳

(and the MAIGA team can help you with all of these things! 😉)
